* July 21 – Matinee at the Little Theatre of Virginia Beach, “Kinky Boots”; This is a musical comedy. We have purchased discounted tickets for $16 (regularly $22). We have limited tickets left. Email at salemwoods91@gmail.com or call me at 757-270-8940.
* April 13 – Annual Salem Woods Park trash pick-up. Free donuts and water. Bags will be provided and some pick-up tools and buckets will be available. Please RSVP to salemwoods91@gmail.com or leave a message at 757-270-8940.
* Mid April - Yard of the Month Selection
* May 4th - Who: SWCA members What: Hiking When: Saturday, May 4, 2024 1:15 - 4:30pm Where: False Cape Park, 4005 Sandpiper Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23456. INSTRUCTIONS: A tram will take us into the park and we will then hike for about a mile. For those who only wish to ride the tram, they can remain on the tram while everyone else is hiking and then ride back with the group. The cost is $10/person and is payable at the Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center located at 4005 Sandpiper Rd in VA Beach. It is just past Little Island Park at the end of Sand-bridge. We will meet at 1:15 pm near the flagpole at the tram tour pick-up spot for the ride through Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge and into False Cape State Park. All funds are used to help False Cape State Park with its goals and objectives each year.
* June 1 – Annual Neighborhood Yard Sale, 8:00 am – whenever you decide to close up shop. We will provide advertisements.
* 2nd Annual Wine Tasting Event on March 15th from 7 - 9 PM at the Virginia Beach Winery! We will have a special performance by The Doorway Singers. Address: 1064 Lynnhaven Parkway #110, Virginia Beach, VA, United States, Virginia
* July 22, 2023: SWCA hosting a “Community Shredding Event” @ Revere Park.
* June 2, 2023: Community Yard Sale, 2 from 8am to whenever you wish to close up. We will have children's crafts at the little park as well as some food trucks.
* May 1, 2023: By-Laws approved. Effective Date May 1, 2023.
* 10-16 April 2023: Members in good standing vote to approve 2023 By-Law
* March 6, 2023: SWCA Meeting, 6-7 pm, Rosemont Forest Elementary School (Dues Letter)
